This Privacy Policy applies to Visualab AI ("we", "our", "us") and to all products and services operating under the toolsmith brand, including the Chrome extensions listed below and the website visualab-ai.com and its sub-paths.

2. Per-extension privacy policies

Each toolsmith extension has its own detailed privacy policy listing its specific permissions and data flow:

  • DM Craft — AI DM drafting for X / LinkedIn
  • TabMind — AI tab manager and session memory
  • ReplyForge — AI reply generator for Gmail and Outlook

Additional toolsmith extensions (ext04 - ext10) will be added here on launch.

3. Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure

All toolsmith extensions' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs (and any other browser-provided user data) adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except with explicit consent, for security investigations, or to comply with applicable law.

4. Common sub-processors

  • Anthropic — Claude API for AI generation. Privacy.
  • Cloudflare Workers — secure proxy for AI requests. Privacy.
  • ExtensionPay / Stripe — Pro subscription billing. ExtensionPay / Stripe.
  • PostHog — anonymous product analytics. Privacy.

5. Where data is stored

  • On your device: chrome.storage.local for settings and history.
  • Anthropic API: requests are processed in real time and not retained for training (per Anthropic's API terms).
  • Cloudflare: abuse-prevention logs retained up to 7 days.
  • Stripe / ExtensionPay: billing records retained per Stripe policy.
  • PostHog: anonymous events retained up to 12 months.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, and restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Email [email protected] with subject "Data Request" and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's privacy

toolsmith services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
