Q1.What does DM Craft do? ▾

DM Craft adds an AI button to X, LinkedIn, and Instagram profile pages. Click it and DM Craft drafts a personalized opening DM in your chosen tone, based on the profile and recent posts.

Q2.Does DM Craft send messages on my behalf? ▾

No. DM Craft only generates the draft and places it in the message composer. You always click Send manually.

Q3.Does DM Craft read my existing DMs? ▾

No. DM Craft never accesses your DM inbox. It only reads the public profile or post you are looking at when you click the DM Craft button.

Q4.Which sites does DM Craft support? ▾

X (twitter.com / x.com), LinkedIn, and Instagram web. Support for Threads and Bluesky is on the roadmap.

Q5.How do I change the tone or language? ▾

Open the DM Craft popup, click the gear icon, and pick a preset (Friendly, Formal, Playful, Sales, Custom). For Custom, write your own system prompt.

Q6.How much does Pro cost and what do I get? ▾

Pro is $4.99/month or $39/year. Pro unlocks unlimited generations, custom tone presets, and priority API queue. Free tier includes 20 generations per month.

Q7.How do I cancel Pro? ▾

Click "Manage subscription" in the DM Craft popup. You will be redirected to ExtensionPay / Stripe to cancel. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period.

Q8.How do I delete all my data? ▾

Open the DM Craft options page and click "Reset all data", then uninstall the extension. To delete your Pro subscription record, email [email protected].

Q9.The DM Craft button is not appearing on a profile. What do I do? ▾

Refresh the page. If still missing, check that DM Craft is enabled in chrome://extensions and that the site is supported. Some A/B tested layouts on X may not be supported yet — please report them.

Q10.I got rate-limited / "AI service unavailable". What now? ▾

Free tier is limited to 20 generations per month. If you are on Pro and seeing this, the upstream Claude API may be temporarily degraded — try again in a few minutes or check our status page.
